The plugin version 1.2.0 could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

@softfully Thanks for reporting. We may need some more information in order to successfully troubleshoot. Do you mind sharing your Site Health information?

If you want to attempt setup once more can you delete the plugin in full before attempt setup using a browser incognito window?

Same issue as above in incognito and I can’t provide Site Health information in public
    Thanks for understanding

@softfully thanks for your response and we understand. Are you able to share your theme and list of plugins?

@softfully could you also tell us where you downloaded the plugin or if this was an update (from 1.1.4)?

    Thread Starter S o f t f u l l y

    (@softfully)

    Downloaded from https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/releases

I am able to share my paid theme from themeforest and list of plugins to your personal email only

I also Troubleshooting and disabled all plugins but no luck

@softfully thanks for the reply. Could you remove that version of Site Kit and download/ reinstall the public version of the plugin from this page and let us know if you still experience the issue?

After activating the plugin, just loading, and loading…
    Plugin dashboard shows white screen

@softfully thanks for the update. Could you hard refresh the browser (Shift + Command + R on Mac) and try clearing the browser cache?

If that does not resolve it, could you provide any browser console errors? Thanks so much!

A hard refresh of the browser (Shift + Command + R on Mac) to clear the browser cache resolved this fatal issue after updating the Site Kit Plugin for me.

I try (Shift + Reload on Windows) and try incognito mode to install google-site-kit.1.2.0

    No Luck

@softfully Thanks for the update, appreciate your efforts to get it working. There is an open GitHub issue which may relate to the problem you are encountering. Feel free to add your input to that GitHub issue, we are investigating at present.

While we are working on this do you mind informing me of the following:
    – Did Site Kit work for you previously?
    – Are you using a CDN, if so have you attempted purging the cache via the CDN?

    Thread Starter S o f t f u l l y

    (@softfully)

The previous version was working well but after installing the latest version, now shopped working both new and previous versions.
I use CDN and also removing cache from the server and CDN.

After an update my website had the exact same issue. I would strongly suggest to stop rolling out this extremely unsafe update.

Is there any way to rollback apart from restoring from backup?

This is what my logs look like:

@softfully Thanks for the update, appreciate the perseverance. So we can debug further can follow the steps below:
    1. Download and install this mini plugin. (Click on the “Download Zip
    ” button)
    2. Install and activate that plugin as you would any other WordPress plugin (Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin)
    3. Visit the Site Kit plugins admin page

What the above does is reset the OpCache, which we suspect could be contributing to this issue. You can find out more about this here. You can delete the mini plugin afterwards, but please inform me if that works.

@varunpriolkar Can you also follow the steps above and inform me if you are able to proceed with Site Kit as normal with the latest version of the plugin?

    Thread Starter S o f t f u l l y

    (@softfully)

    Good news
    YES it works very well

This mini plugin works like a magic, so I will keep this plugin backup on my PC also.
    Thanks
