• I’m building a site with Customify 2018 theme, free version, not yet live.

The mobile menu has stopped functioning, without apparent reason, on all browsers/systems. The icon opens out into a blank space with an X icon to close it.
In Header Builder, I have ascribed Primary Menu to Desktop and Menu Icon to Mobile/Tablet (does this automatically take on Primary Menu?? – at least, it did before it stopped). This worked until a few days ago. I didn’t add any new plugins at the time it stopped working.

To try and resolve I’ve cleared caches and de-activated all plugins with no effect. I’m not sure how to resolve it other than deleting the mobile menu and getting another plugin.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thank you!

  • Hi @elizzzia

    Please follow this documentation
    https://pressmaximum.com/docs/customify/header-builder/header-menu-sidebar/

to know how to add the header items to the Menu sidebar which is shown when clicking the Menu burger.

    Regards.

    Hi @longnguyen,

Thank you for this. I did already find and follow this support documentation. However, it didn’t resolve the issue. What happens is that the Primary Menu is inserted into the mobile header section as well as the (hamburger) Menu Icon and the full menu is then displayed in the header as a vertical block and takes up the full screen. i.e. it is not hidden within the clickable Menu Icon, which is empty on click.

I think that the primary menu is no longer assigned to the Menu Icon, as the div tag is empty on inspection. But I have no idea how to re-assign it.

I have emailed @pressmaximum for support, but it is not forthcoming…

Update: Customify theme @pressmaximum support page no longer valid and they don’t reply to support emails.
I re-installed the theme and the side menu is now working.
