Visual Portfolio works in editor but not when viewing

  • Hi!

    First I’d like to say I like your plugin and it does what I need.
    However I’m having problem getting it to work. It works fine in the editor but when viewing or inserting into Elementor everything is “frozen”. No hover effects and categories are unclickable.
    I’m new to WordPress and Elementor but I have built a website and all I need now is a working gallery. I’m using the Airi theme by the way.

    Hi there,
    Big problems since the Portofolio item layout changed. As said in the previous post, I don’t see on my webpage what appears in the editor. See these 2 pages :
    – one was created before you changed de portfolio item layout and works fine : https://greengift.be/portfolio/2017/,
    – the othe page was created after : https://greengift.be/portfolio/2018/.
    Yet I designed the exact same layout for both pages.
    Captions appear in the italic mode and partly even when not moused over; pictures are cropped,… + whatever I change and update in the editor page does not change on the webpage (even refleshed of course).
    Could you help?

    I was having a similar problem when using a portfolio layout widget in Elementor. I found a workaround by using a shortcode widget instead and adding the portfolio shortcode there. It worked for me.
