• We are new to Time.ly and after installing the plugin, we hit the Settings link in the plugin description and it takes us to a page that says: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

    Settings URL: /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ai1ec_event&page=all-in-one-event-calendar-settings

This is a fresh install of WordPress with no other plugins or themes.

I believe the Time.ly plugin is trying to go to the settings page, but since I haven’t logged into a Time.ly account, it can’t. The plugin should then send me to the activation page which is accessible.

  • Yes, this appears to be a fairly recent bug in the activation procedure, as new installations are still directing people to the “settings” page which they’re prevented from accessing until they fill in the form on the Activation page. We should probably all report it in the official support system: https://dashboard.time.ly/account/get-help
