Remove page links in footer

Hello,

When I add pages to the site, shortcuts to these show up in the footer. How do I remove those shortcuts? I don’t want them to show up on any page. I am using ultra theme. I tried entering css code and it didn’t work. I tried creating a blank menu and applying it to the footer and it didn’t work. Please help me out. Thank you.
