    @pivovody,

    This might give you an idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDmTZQlI6tk. The UI between AAM 5 & 6 changed however concept remains the same.

    Unfortunately this is not what I want .. This video shows how to restrict recordings to only one category. I need to give the user EDIT THE CATEGORY SELECTED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR!!!

    Perhaps you could use manners and be a little more polite when asking for some help? You might find people are more willing to help ??

    Related to this issue the “hidden” option for woocommerce categories doesn’t seem to be working. It simply doesn’t hide the category from the shop page and doesn’t seem to have any effect on hiding the items for the role.

    1. Make new category
    2. Go to Woocommerce -> Categories -> New gategory
    3. Manage default access on category -> Set to hidden on front, back and API
    4. Category still shows up on shop, no effect whatsoever

    Goal is to make a category that is only visible for a certain role users and hidden for all others. I am using the plus package.
