Removing Messages

I have installed some necessary apps on my site but they keep showing rate or subscribe messages at the top of my dashboard and despite clicking the x next to them to dismiss them they come back no matter what page I go to on the dashboard

I am now just wondering how to get rid of these messages as there bothering me because it pushing all the other content on the page down
