• i use a third party blog creator for my WordPress posts. This App uses Markdown language. As far as I know, there is no way to Center images in Markdown. So, when I send my posts to my WordPress blog, all my images are Left-Aligned. Then I have to go through the article and Center Align all my images. Is there a way to set the image alignment Default to “Centered” in the Gutenberg editor?

  • The old editor would use the last alignment you had selected, but the new editor does not.
But your question is not really about the editor. You should be looking at how to filter the HTML that is created from the Markdown, so that the centering can be done there.

Thanks for the reply. I will have to do some research on what filtering the Markdown HTML is about. Thanks again
