Trying to implement webcal://

    I’ve searched and asked about a way to implement a subscription feature to TEC. I was told that the snippet on Gist that was by cliffordp would do it, but I’m having trouble determining exactly where it goes. It says it should go in functions.php, but that php is in the deprecated folder (v4.9.7), and when I look in that file, there is no obvious place for the snippet to go. Do I just put it anywhere in there? Also, it appears to have an open php at the last line, but nothing else in the functions.php file has that, so it seems like it shouldn’t be there.

    Any help is appreciated!
