zotpress selects different sets of references in different places on my site

  • Hi there. I’ve used zotpress for years, and am generally very happy with it, but I’ve recently noticed some odd behavior. One feature I like is the ability to just show the 10 most recently added references to my zotero library. the code I’m using is this

    [zotpress userid="194623" limit="10"?sortby="dateAdded" style="chicago-author-date"]

    But if I use this in the footer of my site, I get one list of references, whereas if I use it in the main text of a page, I get another list of references. Frustratingly, neither of these are my most recent set of references! You can see what’s up here: https://evansresearch.org/test/

    I don’t see the problem on the page you linked. Could it be that it only happens when you insert a ZotPress bib in the main text *and* the footer at the same time?
