External preview image

    Hello guys,

    I want to use the plugin to show different packaging of two different products.
    For example:

    As usual:
    Productimage BIG (product X / product Y)
    Button (Swatches): [product X] / [product Y]

    Packagingimage BIG (packaging X / packaging Y / packaging Z)
    Colors (Swatches): [packaging X] / [packaging Y] / [packaging Z]

    Is it possible to show the image out of the “gift” external ALSO as a big image?
    The packaging image needs to be INDEPENDENT from the productimage. I don’t want the actual product image is changing when you chose packaging. I want to show it independent!!

    It’s a little hard to tell exactly what you want without a image/screenshot, but you should be able to do something like this either with WooCommerce Product Add-Ons or by using this Wrapper plugin with template overrides and use of the ‘wcgiftwrap_change_thumbnail’ filter hook to change image size, and CSS to change appearance ad lib. You may need to work with a developer to get it to look/function exactly how you imagine, though.

    first of all – thank you for your reply! Sorry for this, for sure you can understand it with a screenshot:

    1. you choose product
    2. you choose which packaging

    The free version of Gift Wrapper will not do this (it only has wrap offerings in the cart/checkout area), but either the Plus version or WooCommerce Product Add-Ons could be used to achieve this. If you are unfamiliar with HTML/PHP/CSS, you’ll probably want to employ a developer either way to help you achieve this exact result.
