• It’s been a big transition, going from creating Dreamweaver HTML files to a database WordPress environment, but we’re glad we made the shift. https://www.larchmontgazette.com

We are an all-volunteer organization, with many citizen journalists contributing articles. We don’t even need WordPress MU.

I can’t say enough about our theme, Atahualpa. It allows us to use WordPress as a real CMS, and it keeps improving all the time. The main issue we have now is that of speed. We have many plugins running, and many sidebar widgets to hold specialized content. We’re always looking for ways to speed up the load-time of the front page. Please let me know how the site displays for you. Thanks!

  • I use about 30 plugins and my load times are also slow. I would also appreciate any tips on how to speed up load times. I use a good cache plugin.
