    Hi,

I updated Max Mega Menu and my menu got broken. Only the first menu including the submenus is displayed correctly.

I checked the html-code and it seems that <div id=”mega-menu-wrap-header-menu”> is closed after the first menu entry. So all other entrys aren′t handled by Max Mega Menu.

How do I change this beahvior?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Michael,

If I run your site through the w3 validator, it shows the first error on line 1733, which is here:

    https://screencast.com/t/XjhqurJ50

It points to some HTML that is output using a custom HTML widget within the menu. Can you try removing that custom HTML widget? (or make sure that the html within validates correctly)

    Hi Tom,

thank you very much. Removing the custom HTML fixed the menu.
I had a shortcode for M.E. Calender inside which broke everything.

Is there another way to embed custom shortcodes inside the menu?

    Hi Michael,

Good to see it back up and running.

If the shortcode markup is invalid, then it would not matter how you add it to the menu as it would always cause an error. I.e. you would need to fix the shortcode output (if it is from a plugin, then you should report the issue to the plugin authors), then you can safely add it back to the menu.

    Regards,
    Tom
