Feed Description isn’t updating in my feed

When you say “updated”, you mean when you view the feed in the browser you do not see the changes in the feed? That sounds like a caching issue. IF you can reply with the values you entered into both fields and the URL to the feed we can take a look.

In both my “Feed Description” and “iTunes Program Summary” im putting in the same values. These values are:

And the feed i’m referring to is https://www.vjhemonc.com/podcast/feed/podcast
It’s strange because my “iTunes program summary” will update on this feed but my “Feed Description” isn’t updating.

I did however notice this feed https://www.vjhemonc.com/feed/podcast/, on this feed both my “Feed Description” and “iTunes Program Summary” are getting updated but none of my episodes are on this feed. This might be an issue with the way my feeds are setup?

The feed https://www.vjhemonc.com/podcast/feed/podcast, it appears this is a post type that you called “podcast”, and you’re also trying to makes a podcast feed slug called “podcast” (PowerPress does this for you. I would recommend renaming your post type something else). Using the unique term is as complication just like using the other default terms in Blogging like “feed” or “rss”. There is a setting in PowerPress, labeled “Podcast Permalinks”, select “Match Feed Name to Page/Category” then save. That setting should make this work somewhat better, but mileage will vary with post types.

Oh also, make sure, for the post type feed, you go into Post Type podcasting, then edit that podcast feed. It is found in the left sub menu of powerpress. Thanks!
