    Hello,

The following screenshot explains it: https://imgur.com/a/BYfZE25

Basically, everything looks neat in the title field, but description field converts & to & and that doesn’t look great in the backend ??

Also, a related question: should special characters (e.g. ampersand) in titles and meta descriptions be converted to HTML entities on the frontend (in page source)?

    Hello @bugnumber9

Thank you for contacting the support.

We will see what we could do with that in one of our upcoming updates.

For the other question, HTML entities are parsed inside HTML attributes, and a stray & would create an ambiguity. That’s why you should always write & instead of just & inside all HTML attributes.

Hope that helps. If there’s anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We are here to assist.

Have the same problem, but not from the beginning. I think it’s an important part, because there is never enough space for characters on Google. ??
