• I built my entire site in Dreamweaver, 20-something pages. I have one page that is being hosted on WordPress, my “blog” page. Now I would like to add the 3 most recent posts to my homepage, hosted on my GoDaddy server. However, I need to create static pages to do this.

I vaguely understand the process to this, but my site relies heavily on templates. I do not want to have to change all 20-something pages if I make one minor change to the header, or add and additional sponsor in the sidebar. Is it possible to create static pages in WordPress while still maintaining the template I have created in Dreamweaver?

And a separate question, I cannot figure out how to configure the whatever files necessary to make custom slugs. I don’t want my created static pages to have generic URLs or a date/time format. Is there a way to type in what I want the URL to be?

Thanks so much for helping me out. I’m learning, slowly…
