Normally you just choose a language from the WP General settings, and then WordPress will use the correct language files (if they exist) in the plugin.

That’s what I think, but there’s a condition that I chose traditional Chinese as my WP setting but the plugin showed the simplified Chinese , I saw the description of plugin it supports ZH-TW which is traditional Chinese. So I wonder is there any way to adjust the plugin langauge manually or there’s anything I can do to make the plugin show traditonal Chinese?

To be honest, I don’t speak any version of Chinese, so it is difficult for me to tell which is which during the (automatic) translation process. So you are saying that ZH-TW is for Traditional Chinese, correct?

To add another language, you can use a free plugin such as Loco Translate, which makes it possible to translate any plugin or theme into your language.

I used the locate translate as you suggested , then I saw where the problem is , It seems like you guys treat simplified and traditional Chinese as the same language , The translate file of plugin have different names but in fact the same translation , that’s the reason. There is’nt any different between simplified and traditional chinese orally, but there’s a major difference in writing. Hope you guys will fix the problem soon, and thank you for replying!

Thanks for the infos. The problem is that the automatic translator services provide limited options for language dialects and variations. But I will try again to choose the correct options and get this sorted out for the next plugin update. In the meantime, you can always create your own translation using the .mo/.po templates provided by the plugin.
