Open another URL while popup modal is on with WPBakery Go Button

I am using this great plugin together with WPBakery Go Button.
The way I use it is to insert the Popup “Default Class” value into the “Extra class name” section of WPBakery Go Button. SO when user clicks the button, a modal first appears, user reads the information and clicks a link inside the modal to continue and is taken to an external url OR he closes the modal with a X close button.

But I want to take it a step further. I want a situation whereby when user clicks the link inside the modal to proceed outside of my website, as he is being taken to the external url, the page where he was on my site is ALSO moving to another url inside my site.

The reason I want it so?
He is clicking to go make a manual payment outside my site, so I want the page where he will provide the payment information to be ready waiting for him. So after payment, as he returns to where he left off, what he sees is the page where he will provide the payment information which will be forwarded to us for processing.

Unfortunately, its a manual payment (skrill for personal use) so there is no way for the payment processor to forward the user back to a desired page.

Any ideas here?
