• Hi,
I wonder if you could help me.

I have a website for some reason there are several Cron jobs overdue.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Please bear in mind that I’m non technical but any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Hi @t-p,

I disabled all plugins and also used one of the default themes and it seems that I had the same problem.
I asked a programmer to look at this and his solution was to disable the normal wp-cron & add a Alternate Cron job which was fine except it added the details of the Alternate Cron job to some of the website’s URLs which wasn’t ideal.
I also used the Health Check plugin and unfortunately, it completely changed the look of the website while it was in Troubleshooting mode.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
