How to exclude custom pages from search?

    Hi,

    I love this plugin, but how can I exclude the custom pages from search? For example I have 30 pages I want that this search would do the job for, and other pages like “thank-you” or “about-us” would not be in search results. How can I search within custom pages or exclude unwanted pages?

    You can exclude posts/pages or any custom post type under the Advanced Options panel, here: https://i.imgur.com/N6H379T.png

    How to add post types there? as it is saying post Ids separated by comma?

    You can add any post type ID there, there are exclusively unique across post types.

    but how do we get post type ID, we can fetch post id. Sorry I am trying to find the way but could not achieve.

    For example I have a post type of “leaders” and I need to exclude these post type.

    How do I achieve it?

    On the back-end post editor screen, the browser address bar always contains the post ID, for any custom post type: https://i.imgur.com/HAuKmIs.png

    Thanks for the reply, I want to exclude entire post type not particular post.

    If I need to exclude a custom post types like of “faqs” how do I achieve it.

    complete custom post I need to exclude.

    Under the General Options -> Sources panel, you can choose which ones to search. Do not choose the one you don’t need, and that’s it.

    I have updated that but it is not working. Plugin is also searching from the custom post types which I have not dragged inside the box.

    Also as you given the option to exclude post Ids, I entered manually all the ids even though the plugin showing the results from excluded posts.

    any help Earnest?
