Site locked with white background + logo + “Archives”

    I’m getting short of time to get my site ready, have just started and I’m already stuck – so would very much appreciate support on this:

    I have followed all the steps in the wpbeginners guide to troubleshooting. My site is only white background with my logo and the word Archives and I can’t undo it. It looks exactly like where I customized my logo in wp Customizer. Wanted to make a very simple coming-soon page (no countdown, social media or other links, just background image and some text). First tried with Elementor Cancas, following a tut-video. Template looks fine but does not load. Then deactivated that, tried Seedprod Coming-soon – preview looks fine, but does not load. Then followed the troubleshooting guide, so all cache is cleared on site and in wordpress, all plugins are deactivated.

    I solved this problem, maybe I can help some non-techie newbie like myself by sharing how: I only went to my site via dashboard>visit site instead of in logged-out mode or incognito browser window.. I had no idea that is the only way to see how your site will look to visitors. Lesson learned. ??
