Hello Support … I am looking for advice on data collection having tried many form plugins.
I can capture the data via a form plugin but not quite in the format I require.
We need to collect racing data from our clubs who need to input their top 5 positions each week.
We would collect data from 10 clubs and download the combined data as a csv file for input into the result software.
If a club only had 1 position to input that would be fine but as they need to input 5 positions 1st to 5th per race then this is the problem as the data is not in the correct positions.
We collect Members Number, Name, Finish Time
A csv file outputs as 1 complete record for a club (combines all 5 positions) when I would require 5 records per club.
Not sure if this is possible but hopefully someone will guide me.
    Thanks

All of these requirements can be met with Gravity Forms :

    Many thanks Corrinausso
I did look at Gravity Forms but could not work out how to get the multiple lines of records in the form so turned to a spreadsheet idea but still looking for a solution.
    Members Number, Name, Finish Time
    X123, John S, 12:30
    T345, Stan G, 12:35
    F126, Gill D, 13:01
    H456, Ben J, 13:30
    K789,Fred T, 14:23

Most form plugin allow for only 1 line of a record but I need up to 5 lines (like 5 rows on a spreadsheet) to capture all the records and then that needs to saved (submit form) and then when all clubs submit results all combined in 1 download of csv or excel.

Will re-visit Gravity Forms and thanks for the help.

Just to add … Sorry but I do not know the technical name for what I am trying to create.

I suppose its a spreadsheet that a Club would input the data on a webpage but in the form of a Form.

I have looked at a number of Gravity Form videos but not yet found an example but will keep looking.

    Thanks again

    Exactly like that Corrinarusso

I did look at some sports sites as well but what you have shown me is perfect.

Not sure what to ask as I do not want to be forward but obviously would like some help and pointers.

Really appreciate the link to Gravity Forms and will check out all the features and hopefully this will be the solution.
    THANKS AGAIN
