Anyone else having issues today. Seems to be related to the leap year.

Any payments being processed via stripe are being returned as cancelled and refunded.

We use EDD, All Access Pass, Recurring Payments and Stripe Gateway. All EDD plugins.

Our memberships last for 12 months. And as there is no 29th Feb 2021 it seems to causing issues.

Note: We also use the PayPal standard gateway and have had successful payments today and the subscriptions expire on March 1st next year…

    Any help would be appreciated

@flashjunkie We aren’t seeing any issues on our end at Sandhills with this. Are you using ‘12 Months’ or ‘1 Year’ as your length? If you are using 12 Months, have you tried using 1 Year? There is some unique things within the Stripe API that happen when dates do not exist in the next period, which is why we suggest to go with the ‘largest possible date unit’. For instance 1 Year instead of 12 Months (or 1 week instead of 7 days). The discrepancy comes between how PHP and Stripe calculate things like +12 Months.

    Thanks for the rapid response.

Here is how the membership is set up…

@flashjunkie Interesting, we use nearly the same setup for our All Access Passes and I’m not finding any instances of this. In fact I just went and purchased our All Access Pass which is a 1 year recurring product with licensing enabled, and the entire process completed successfully. There were no cancellations, refunds, or anything.

My subscription for the pass was setup to renew on Feb 28th, 2021, thanks to the release we did back in January where we account for end of period variations.

Did you be sure to update the EDD Stripe and Recurring addons when we did these fixes back on January 30th?

We run a fair amount of customized code on our website including tweaks to the recurring plugin and the AAP plugin so these have not yet been updated to the most recent release as it does involve making code tweaks.

I’ll try and get these updates done today and see if the issues are resolved.

    Many thanks.

Indeed you are right, an update to edd-stripe and edd-recurring has resolved the issues.

Huge face palm from me ??

    Many thanks!
