how to configure link expiration time

I dont want to let people download my file without download link so I made my dlm_uploads folder protected. And I don’t redirect download link to file (so didnt select related check box on edit download page). and my files are members only.
my problem is. If I fill the form and get the download link. I cant reach the file over link (403 error). If I unselect members only selection then I can download file but it doesnt matter using uid=######## parameter. If I remove parameter then I can download it too. so I can’t expire the link. I think it must be download members only files using uid parameter but doesnt work :((
How can I configure to let people download file just through link on email???
