Hi @josevarghese, Peace be with you!
I cannot open the super-web-share.pot file w/ Poedit, wich says “it is probably corrupted” or “not a valid POT file”.
I am using V. 1.4.4. of Super Web Share (I’ll give you feedbak soon).
    Thx,
    Andy

    Hello Andy,

Sorry for the delay in responding as I was out of the station. First of all, thanks a lot for taking the time to try out Super Web Share. ??

At this moment we haven’t created a POT file for this plugin, due to that you have noticed that kind of errors while trying out over Poedit. When I checked some tutorials to create a POT file, I noticed that a premium version of the software is needed. I’ll manually create one mostly by the mid of the month and will ship with over the next version.

A little bit curious to know about, why don’t you contribute with translation via https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/super-web-share/ ??
So that all users will be helpful to use your translations and you will be part of the WordPress translations.
Bonus: You’ll get a badge for such contributions over your WordPress profile.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    Hi Jose,
    thx for your answer!

I’m happy to satisfy your curiosity:
I’m not using translate.www.ads-software.com because it is strenuous to make translations.
We have to translate the strings one by one!
Since no one of us is stupid, at least not too many, we make translations with Poedit or other tools.
What we should do then is to go to translate.wp, copy from Poedit the translation ready and paste it one by one… This is crazy!

I think I will translate Defender for a client and there are 1247 strings to translate! It will take forever with translate.wp (79 pages!!!).

Instead, free Poedit gives the possibility to make translations easy, even with suggestions that most of the time are good.
Now I can help you doing the translation in Italian if you need sending you the po file.

Anyway, I made the super-web-share.pot file for you: CSV from the page on translate.wp you linked > po file from CSV with this free tool (eazypo.ca) > pot file from po file with the same tool. Easy peasy.
I sent It by PM on FB.

BTW, as for now, I cannot use your plugin mainly because with it I am forced to use another social sharing plugin for the desktop view, and this is a problem in many ways.
Furthermore, it doesn’t allow me to use shortcodes, and I use a framework called Oxygen Builder, which allows me set up the pages, posts, custom post… everything the way I want, with dynamic data and shortcodes and so much more.

But I am sure you will make your tool much better soon, and if you make Super Web Share available also for desktop view + shortcodes I will be very happy to use it, because it will be very useful.

    God bless you!
    Andy

    Hi again,

Over the last few hours, I was working on to make the POT file manually. ?? And thanks for sharing your thoughts on using translations.

Regarding the plugin like you mentioned, it’s not currently working over the desktop as the API is not supported over it. To overcome this, I’m working on the final step to resolve this behaviour.

Thanks a lot again for sharing your valuable feedback’s and thought’s.
