    Hello,
When a user sign up at a wordpress site, a confirmation message is shown to him: see below message:

         xxxxxx is your new username
But, before you can start using your new username, you must activate it.

Check your inbox at [email protected] and click the link given.

If you do not activate your username within two days, you will have to sign up again.

Now in this message, i want to remove the last line. “If you do not activate your username within two days, you will have to sign up again.”

Please confirm, how can I remove t his line.

After digging up i have found that this line is coming from file wp-signup.php at line number 679 and i cannot change this file, as this file is a core file of WP and may be overwritten in future updates.

If you were able to remove that line, you would also need to remove the processing that happens to enforce it. So it’s best to have the truth.
With that in mind, you can use a plugin like Say What? to change any text string to something else (like ”).
