I have a woo shop item which is a membership to a club.
It’s a variable product with two subscription options.

I do not want or need the stock level managed as it’s a subscription. As soon as I check to sync product data to square inventory control is forced upon me and control is removed from wordpress (greyed out manage stock check boxes) Further more now all variations are marked as out of stock so this has effectively disabled the shop item.

I have had to set the item to manage stock and set the stock level to 999 which is a really horrible work around.

How do I get round this?
Setting the product to virtual or downloadable has no effect. Does the square plugin force stock counting on all products with no exceptions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey there!

If you are on the latest version of Square plugin, that should not be the case.

A few versions ago we made this change: * Tweak – Re-introduce the “inventory sync” toggle to allow syncing product data without affecting inventory

That setting is found in the Square settings in WooCommerce settings: https://d.pr/i/S01Kvh

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!
