date formatting problem in Fluid Blue 1.72

I’ve tried editing the date format on the General Settings page, but what I end up on each post is a date like October 21, 2009, – including that extra comma at the end.

I would like the date to appear like Wednesday, October 21, 2009 – what do I need to do?
