The EA Post Grid started to look funky recently with the “Masonry” setting. Previously, it would fit everything nicely together like bricks, but now it looks ugly and is not fitting as well. When I update settings, things continue to be broken and ugly.

When you go to my website you need to scroll down to “Latest Posts” to see what I’m talking about.

When I changed the image size to be large, it made the images even bigger so it looked like I was essentially on mobile with huge pictures.

When I change the setting to “Grid” it still looks ugly! Does not do a grid.

When I change columns, it completely ignores my setting and has this weird 1-2 column look.

I tried to create a new EA Post Grid but the same thing is happening.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I failed to search before posting this. I see that if I go to Essential Add Ons > Tools > Regenerate assets it seems to work now.

But how did it get in this state in the first place and how can I prevent this from happening again?

    Hi @teradyl,

Sometimes, it happens after an update is released of the plugin because it becomes necessary to regenerate the assets so that everything works fine and new changes get triggered properly in your site. It’s not a regular issue indeed but sometimes cache clearing is needed to make everything work fine in a fresh way.

    I hope you understand.
