Several blogs within one site.

  • I am establishing a web site and want several blogs in one site. Multisite is the only solution I have seen yet, but is it other alternatives?

    What will be the difference. Have you a couple of examples og how sites look like with different alternatives?

    The reason Multisite is usually suggested is because you can manage all sites from a single account. With the alternative that I proposed above, you will have to remember the credentials to each site, and keep every site and plugin up to date.

    What is the benefit of installing WP p? each subdomain? can you have it only on the main domain?

    It really depends of the scope of your project. If you plan to have more than 2 sites, it is suggested to use multisite instead.
