I’ve run into a weird problem associated with permalinks it seems
-
The visitors on my website are visiting urls that end with my domain name?
I don’t think i can even explain the issue i’m having so i’ll include a link to the screenshot of my google analytics view which shows that the visitors on my website are visiting urls that can’t possible be urls. How can a url on a website e.g website.com/about-us end with website.com/-about-us/website.com
Siteground support said “it appears that the configuration itself is somehow redirecting to those permalinks with the domain name at the end”

But when i try to visit those urls i’m thrown with this error https://app.usebubbles.com/10cddf62-3737-4a54-a40d-46fd5fee0ed5
Someone on stackoverflow gave this answer for the error message^
” That happens because: 1) there are no such pages on your website and 2) the requested pages have an extension that allows executing them on the server. So the plugin suspects that some bot or hacker tries to find vulnerable/insecure code to exploit it. Anyway, you can ignore that. ”
Can someone explain to me why this is happening and how to fix this?
