How does your new GA update work with the current woocommerce google analytics pro plugin? That allows you to have funnels steps so you can see checkout behaviour etc.

Nothing seems to be firing off to GA on cartflow pages… the funnels steps are not getting recorded.

Will cartflows not work and record the steps with the woocommerce pro plugin? or do you need to tick the boxes for it to work properly?

Confused as everything I have read on your site suggests that ‘if it works for woocommerce’ if works with cartflows. So the offical plugin should be compatiable?no?

    Hello @umbrellaweb !

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Actually, if you are using both the settings that is the Google Analytics Plugin as well as the Google Analytics plugin that is provided in the CartFlows -> Setting then it may create a conflict.

But, the script added from the CartFlows will be added only on the CartFlows Pages and not all over the website.

So, even if you use another plugin then it should fire multiple events from one page.

We have an article for this which may help you.
    1. https://cartflows.com/docs/enable-google-analytics-tracking-cartflows/
    2. https://cartflows.com/docs/troubleshooting-google-analytics-tracking-issues/

    I hope this helps.

Please let me know in case you have more questions.

    Thanks for the reply.

Actually read those links prior to posting and it didnt answer my question hence the post.

The anaytics pro plugin by woo does record steps albeit missing out some steps due to the way your funnel builder works. So it doesnt record the placing of an order BUT does record a transaction.

Using your anayltics setup WITHOUT the pro plugin activated misses out more steps. It only records a transaction and not the prior steps.

All this is on a default setup with no additional plugins/themes apart from storefront theme, woocommerce and cartflows.

    Somthing definitly not working correctly.

Ideally your analytics should work with the pro woo analytics plugin and record all steps for the checkout behaviour as it should. Perhaps a review of how that checkout behaviour setup is done: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-google-analytics-pro/ may help to fix OR alter your analytics setup behaviour to be at least ompatiable OR work as your docs describe how it should be working?

    Hello @umbrellaweb

Thank you for getting back to us!

Let me tell you that we haven’t checked the working of Analytics Pro plugin by WooCommerce and we haven’t added the custom support of that plugin in the CartFlows and that might also not records some steps and transactions.

Now, in the CartFlows, we have provided certain events such as PageView, Begin Checkout, Add to Cart, Add payment info, Purchase. From these events, you can enable PageView for your whole website but the rest of the events will be executed on the CartFlows pages.

If you are saying that the Analytics Pro Plugin should work on the CartFlows pages then I am not sure about it, as of now we haven’t added the support for it.

If you can share the zip of that plugin then we can take a look at it and try to find the way to add the support for it.

To share the ZIP you can open the support ticket from our website here: https://cartflows.com/support/open-a-ticket/

    I hope this helps.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.
