featured image doesn’t work

    Hi,
    from a couple of weeks the featured image doesn’t work anymore.
    I have the 20190312 version of plugin and the wordpress 5.2.5
    I try to disable all plugins except the submission one and change the them to the ninentheen (the out of the box), but without ant success.
    I haven’t the recond in the post_meta table with meta_key _thumbnail_id, if I create manually it the post show the featured image.
    Could you help me to find a solution or to find the code where there is the insert of this data in order to debug it?

    Glad to help. I’m not sure what might be happening but it sounds like something is interfering with normal functionality. My best advice would be to do some basic troubleshooting of your theme and plugins to find out which (if any) is causing problems.

    I read the code and finally understand that the featured image was added to the db the first time we open the post
