broken since update

  • We have the same problem. This new update when you try to login says “pending approval”

    Everyone is locked out currently on our system

    I have the same problem and my many university students cannot log in to continue with their research projects. This is urgent! Can someone help, please!

    Luckily, I was already logged in as admin. I have a Siteground hosting account and their support team restored the previous version of the plugin for me. So now my students and I can log in without problems. The update still needs to be reviewed though.

    Same issue. We have thousands of users that can’t log in!!!

    The latest version is kind of broken. I and my fellow administrator were locked out of administration console. I had to sideload the 1.8.1 version, then revoke my friends administrator status, change the status from approved to pending and then back and make him administrator again.

    For regular users the approval status could be changed, not so for administrators. I am like hour before release, don′t do this to me WPEverest. My heart almost stopped.

    Guys if you have FTP access to your site download the version 1.8.1 and upload it to /wp-content/plugins/ You should be able to login then.

    Although on the Downloads tab in your MyAccount dashboard it says it is 1.8.1, it is in fact 1.8.2
    I downloaded and installed it with no change to the problem. When you read the readme txt it state 1.8.1

    Is there anywhere else you can download an older version?

    Go here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-registration/advanced/ and from the dropdown menu pick 1.8.1, that is the version I downloaded.

    Also it is possible that you must login with the main admin account that wasn′t created by User Registration plugin. That′s what I used. My friend created account via the plugin and then I made him administrator. He was locked out even after reverting back to previous version.
