• WooCommerce Admin is a pile of $#!&!!! Why on earth would you foist something on us that no one wanted to begin with? At least let us have the option of disabling it.
    I suppose it may be time to consider another ecommerce add-on…

  • Totally agree with @hurri500
    Worst decision made by Woocommerce to include this new dashboard by default

    What happens if you disable all of the “Performance” widgets at the top of the WooCommerce Dashboard. Turning these off seemed to work for me. Hopefully they can get this resolved soon.

    Hi, hurri500,

    Sorry to hear you don’t like the new dashboard. If you prefer to disable it, you can do it by using a filter

    add_filter( 'woocommerce_admin_disabled', '__return_true' );

    or there are small plugins that do it for you as well e.g. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-dashboard-for-woocommerce/.

    Hi Peter,
    Thanks for your response and tip on how to disable the dashboard.
    I appreciate the fact that you responded to my somewhat strongly worded message with a solid solution.
    In view of this I’m going to still recommend WooCommerce, because for the most part it is still the best solution for getting an ecommerce site up and running quickly and with a ton of options.
