• Great plugin. Don’t need any help, just a suggestion for your product. I found my own solution.

I’m mentioning all of the below stuff as a suggestion that might improve the Wicked Folders product(s).

I noticed after installing a plugin (Wider Admin Menu) to increase the width of the WordPress Admin Menu, the Wicked Folders Plugin was obscured by the wider WordPress Admin Menu. After a quick search of your Plugin’s CSS, I noticed that the Wicked Folders are positioned using a FIXED CSS setting offset by 160px (which is the default width of the WordPress Admin Menu). I adjusted it for my situation and all is well.

A competitor product to the Wicked Folders for Media, WP Media Folder, displays a similar Folder and Tree view to the left of the list of items, but they use a couple of extra DIV Elements in HTML and position their Folder and Tree menu in a relative fashion. Since I’m not familiar with either of the products it probably would have taken a couple of hours to figure out how they did it and then find an improvement for Wicked Folders, but I figure you guys could probably do it in about 5 minutes.

PS, I like your Wicked Folder for Media product better than WP Media Folder. Theirs was just the quickest and closest example of a comparable product I could find to see if someone else handled the CSS differently.

Again, great plugin and thanks for the effort.

    Hi @terrawide,

Thank you for the suggestion! We’ll look into this and see if there’s a way to position the folder pane differently that doesn’t require specific positions.
