Excerpt with read more link

  • When we use the Excerpt field in the editor we don’t get the Read more button on the archive page, one can only use the title or featured image to read further. How can I add a read more button to the excerpt?

    We are not sure if we have received your query correctly.

    If you have added Excerpt from the Gutenberg editor it will overwrite our functions.

    So to find the default Read More button, you should not have the Excerpt added from the Gutenberg Editor fields in the Right Sidebar of the editor.

    Please elaborate if we haven’t received your query correctly? Do share a screencast too if possible.
