Add Tax to basket total (including shipping)

    Hi,

    If i want to add a tax to my baskets total, which also includes the shipping cost how do i set this up?

    I can add a tax to the cart, and shipping but this changes my flat rate total to the flat rate + tax.. So i basically want: cart total > shipping cost > then tax covering the overall total

  • I may be misunderstanding what you want, but have you tried going into WooCommerce -> Settings -> Tax -> Standard Rates and checking the “Shipping” checkbox for each zone you want to tax the shipping?

    Thanks for your reply, yes only problem is it changes the “flat rate” total to the total plus tax (which is the correct total but i’d rather it be added to the basket total rather than appearing as the flat rate cost)
