split existing db

  • Hi,
    I have a wordpress multisite system with a single database. the database size is almost 1GB and the host is not going to support dbs over than 1GB.
    what I wanted to ask you please is:
    can I use this plugin to split this existing database to 4 small dbs?

  • Yes. you can do that. there are advanced documents related to this.

    but when I tested it before, you had to manually move the sub databases of the multisite site you created. was updated. I’m not sure right now
