So I’ve noticed recently that when using the scroll wheel on my mouse to scroll on my homepage, which uses the parallax plugin, that it is very badly jumpy/jittery. Although it’s fine if using the scrollbar.

This happens the worst in Chrome and Opera but is seemingly ok in Firefox and Edge. BUt it wasn’t happening like this in any browser before a month or two ago. I’m not sure when it began happening as I haven’t been checking my site that often over the past while, the only big thing I can recall is updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but I didn’t think that would really cause this!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Aimee.

I looked at your website. The problem you’re experiencing is probably caused by a conflict with another script on your site. There were several warnings from other scripts in the console when I looked.

With that said… If it’s an issue with the parallax javascript itself, this is just something that I am enabling with the parallax shortcode. In other words. The issue isn’t my plugin, but rather you’re having an issue with the parallax.js script which I am just making it easy for people to use in WordPress.

So unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do to help you fix it, since the issue isn’t with my plugin itself.

I would look at whatever script you’re using to customize the scrollbar as a potential cause of problems.
