Multiple membership levels

    My site will have multiple membership levels to access different parts of the site (using roles or ProfileGrid groups). Will registration magic allow me to create a form to collect extra information from existing members to allow them to move up to the next level of membership? eg initial registration I won’t need location, for the next level of membership I will need to add that information to a user’s profile.

    Hi,

    We can set the different levels of membership using groups and to access different parts of the site by membership level, you may use content restriction feature of ProfileGrid. It allows to restrict the content of any WordPress post or page, group based.

    ProfileGrid allows users to join multiple groups. If user is member of group1 already, then he may also join the group2 and may update the required information on site.

    To achieve this you may hide the Join Group button on group page and can provide the direct link of registration page of the group to user when you want them to be a member of that group.

    So I have a registered user. Can I use another RM form to collect more data that will be added to the user profile of that user?

    Hi,

    You may achieve this by integration of RegistrationMagic with ProfileGrid. This integration allows you to map RegistrationMagic form with ProfileGrid Group and then this mapping will allow you to map RegistrationMagic form field with ProfileGrid Group field. Once form is mapped, the user may edit their profile and map update the other information.
