Hi there, I noticed issues related to emails I have been receiving from NinjaFirewall. I will be describing the issue in a video and will attach that video below.

I use Cloudflare + NinjaFirewall (free version). Since the day I have added this plugin on my website I get 100’s of emails from this plugin. And the email talk about the same thing again and again. I contacted the support via email and they asked me to create a detailed issue in this support form so that others having the same issue can get benefit from my ticket.

    a. Here is the URL of my website = [ redundant link removed ]
    b. Here is the video = https://youtu.be/2kVrvolBsGo

Questions you can answer to help me:

#1. Why am I getting these emails?
#2. Are these emails has to do something with the Cloudflare?
#3. How can I hide index.php, ajex.php, cron.php file from the attackers so that they can not attack these URLs and I do not get these emails?
    4. Are these attackers who are trying to attack or does that means that this plugin is not getting communication with the Cloudflare and that is why am I getting these emails?
#5. You have seen my settings, Am I doing something wrong and because of it, am I getting these emails?
#6. Is my website on any kind of risk?
#7. What can I do to stop these types of emails if I should not worry about these emails?

Update:- I have sent the login details to you guys via an email just now for my website so that if you want to check my settings you can. And I also have disabled the firewall for the country level so that you can access the site.

Update:- I am going to update this ticket.

Hi there, I have installed your plugin on a new domain/website today just a few hours ago. And I am getting the same issue on that website too + I am getting 2 more very little issues.

I have created a very short video here –> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVA_pXVwelk

Note:- In the video, I mentioned about one new issue. Where I was not able to click on Intermediate Policies and Advanced Policies. I found the solution, I was not logged in as admin. I was logged in as Author at that time, and for the author, I had added some user roles.

I also found that if I log-in or log-out from the dashboard area, I get email notification. Here you can see screenshot –> https://prnt.sc/rptopt and https://prnt.sc/rptoum

Your files were modified (content) or changed (permissions, ownership etc) and because you enabled “File Guard”, it sends you an email. But that’s odd that your files appear to be modified/changed so often. Did you ask your hosting company? Maybe they have a script/cronjob that runs at a regular interval and restores the ownership or permission on the whole website, that’s a possibility.
In the meantime, disable the “Monitoring > File Guard” as long as you don’t know why the files are modified.
