• This is for information rather than support. I have Yoast Free v 13.4 installed as one of 13 plugins on my WP site. When I tried to view the Yoast xml sitemap (via the ? button next the XML Sitemap switch on the Features tab of SEO->General) I got an error 404. Chasing up this problem it was suggested that this was due to an incompatibility with another plugin. After some experimentation I found that the incompatible plugin was bbPress (latest version) forum software. I deactivated bbPress, deleted it, removed pages which it had generated, updated the navigation menu and installed WPForo as the forum software. Yoast now shows the XML sitemap OK and wpForo provides the forum facility.

    Hi @simonkravis ,

Thanks for your report. However, we have not received similar reports from other Yoast SEO + bbPress users.

It’s possible that this issue was caused by caching or new permalink settings that needed to be saved on your site. If you run into this issue again, please let us know and we’ll be glad to take a look.

I changed the forum to WPForo and Yoast works OK with this. bbPress is so widely used that others must have come across this incompatibility if it is fundamental. I suspect your diagnosis is correct, but I won’t be going back to bbPress to check.

    Thanks for your help.
