Changing where the breadcrumbs point…

  • Is there a way to change where the breadcrumbs point to? I would like to have the links go to a page, just like the menus, as opposed to going to a category.

    If code is required, I am just “cutting my teeth” with the code, so if it’s simple to paste and put in the correct location, with some detail in the instructions, I think I could do it.

  • There is a way to do it, but it would involve rewriting the entire breadcrumb class that is setup by WooCommerce ( breadcrumbs are handled by WooCommerce and not the theme ). An easier way might be to use something like a breadcrumb plugin:

    However, that would still require some modification with a child theme to get it working correctly.
