hi we use the plugin CPT UI but we have some issues when we add/ Edit content types.

the issue appears when we add new content types and the first field we fill its for the slug name, so we want to name it “curso” but when we add this and create the entries and we go to view the entries the slug appears correctly like:

    domain.com/curso/name-of-the-entry

but we have a error 404 page not found.

And when we go to change this slug “curso” for example to “cursos” it works propertly and we see the entry we published.

I check and update the permalinks, and clean the cache… i read in some forums to check the option publicly_queryable to true so i checked and its set to true and it still no working… any idea how to fix this?

Just a shot in the dark here, do you have potentially any page or media attachment also named “curso” ? It’s possible that the URL for those entries are being interpreted as child pages, which they are not in this case.

Asking about the media attachment because those technically are a post type and they get their own permalink, and conflicts with media happen every blue moon.

    Sorry for late response.

Yep this solved my problem. There is was another page called “curso” and this causates the problem, so it was solved.

    Thank you for your help.
