User activation mail

  • Dear sir when new account created using user profile builder plugin. I have question that is it posible that activation link delivered from local host website from my system (connected with internet) or its must on domain online for sent activation link to new user?

    If your website can be viewed by people from the Internet, it means that it has an URL, and in this case, the email confirmation will work.

    It should not matter that your website is hosted on your local machine. Normal web servers are also ultimately just computers connected to the Internet.

    No sir, my site has no url only shows ip adress 127.0.0.0/wordpress on my local system
    Thats why user can’t receive activation mail?

    When the user receives the email confirmation, the user needs to click on an URL leading to your site, with some unique ID.

    But if your website does not have an URL, this certainly can’t work.
