• I have a WordPress multisite installation with domains that I want to map to each sub site. I followed a tutorial online, which included setting up nginx properly, etc. I set each domain’s A record to point to my server IP, etc.

The problem is that the only way I got it actually working is to use nginx’s proxypass to cloak the URL from ‘subsite.domain.com’ to ‘www.seperatedomain.com’.

If I follow normal tutorial instructions and go to the WordPress site settings for the sub site, and change the URL to ‘www.seperatedomain.com’, and remove any nginx proxypass code, then navigating to that domain shows my main network’s site theme, and a message saying “Registration has been disabled”.

    Has anyone experienced this??
