Ok a few example [and by no means an exhaustive list].
Lots of problems stem from blocks not using any standard woocommerce filters or actions so pretty much any plugin to modify woocommerces behaviour in the shop stops working. Naturally a client sees this as a problem with ‘the site’.
The markup has changed so themes are not consistently across sites.
‘All products’ works differently to all the others e.g featured products. So you can move stuff since ‘all products’ uses innerblocks none of the other do which creates confusion amongst user. e.g ‘Why can’t I toggle the sale flag on x’
Again due to the lack of filter and action support there is no way to make this behaviour more consistent, one look in the Github Repo makes me concerned that this may never come.
Finally, and this is a mix between the Gutenberg interface itself and Woocommerce Blocks really, navigating and moving blocks remains a car crash, I get this is mainly gutenbergs fault but christ can we have some consistency.
I think the fact that Storefront [fixed typo] Themes don’t even retain their styling with the Woo Blocks is testament to how far away these still are from production ready. The phrase “eating your own dog food” springs to mind.
I stand by my assertion this should be considered beta software, and early beta at that.
