Woocommerce displays incorrect orders

Hi @sandiphere! The most common reason for this is a caching issue. Since you’ve disabled caching but are still experiencing the issue, I recommend doing some conflict testing to see if it helps.

For conflict testing, I would set up a staging site and use the Twenty Nineteen theme and only WooCommerce. Then see if the orders are displayed correctly when a test user registers for the first time.

Activate latest Twenty Twenty theme and deactivated all plugin except, still when register from my account page, its shows a random old order which was not placed by this email address

the orders which wrongly attached to new registered customer is from guest users order, same thing display in admin panel also, when I filter with the new register customer, in admin same wrong order listing display

When a new user registers to your site, is it always the same order that is created for them, or does each user get an order that corresponds to the last checkout or the last guest checkout? Does the incorrect order also show under another customer’s account? Please share any patterns that you notice.

Also, could you please share your system report. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

No when new user register in website, its display random order in the list, sometimes its single order, sometimes 2 to 3 orders listed in the order list, Also its not display from last checkout, maximum time its display the orders from 2017
also if I search that email in order list in admin panel and filter the orders by that new register user email, in admin also the same order lited like front end. tose orders place via different email id but still those listed when I filter order by new user email id, I have registered 10 times, every time, some different random order fro 2017 display in order lists.

Hi @sandiphere! Thanks for sharing your system report. From looking at it, I see that you’re running an older version of WooCommerce and several of your plugins have updates available. However, I don’t see any indicators as to what could be causing this issue.

I would suggest that you do some conflict testing to see if this is being cause by one of your plugins. We have a guide to help you with that here.

I have done all conflict testing
Deactivate all plugin, update woocommerce to latest, activate default WordPress theme, but nothing solve.

I have found a conflict that, _customer_user in wp_postmets tagged user id upto 1399 where my latest user id is 1006, so when new user register he get id 1007 and as in postmeta table its already saved user id 1399 its match random order and display in order list

I have manually update the last user id in wp_users to 1400 so that new user can get id 1401 but still new user getting sequancial id like 1007,1008 can you let me know how i can make chnage so that new user get id after 1400

Hi @sandiphere. It sounds like something is corrupted in your database, perhaps from an import? In general, guest orders should have a _customer_user value of 0. I would suggest changing the value of this field to 0 for those old guest orders to avoid having old guest orders assigned to new customers on your site.

Not sure if this is the correct place to write, but experiencing big problems with checkout on orders.
The order is placed, and the description of the product is given, with price, and yet a random SKU is attributed to the product (not the product’s correct SKU)
The automatic stock check then reduced the stock count of the SKU given, and NOT the stock of the product sold, as in the description.
If the price of the product sold is the same price as the SKU that has been randomly generated, I am not certain whether the customer has bought the product as described, or the product matching the SKU.
Another problem is that sometimes the price is altered.
If I have sold a product at e.g. ￡25.00, it has sometimes put that I have sold three products at ￡8.33 each, the total being ￡25.00. Again, a muddle, as not sure if the customer has bought three items or just the one.
I have updated the Woocommerce database, and all plugins are updated.
I would appreciate any help. Please write in simple language, as not very computer literate. Many thanks

No, I have not been able to resolve this issue, (slightly reassuring to know that it is not just me having this problem, though it doesn’t help any of us!)
Really frustrating, and looks so bad with customers, as means one is not sure what it is they have ordered.
Makes a real mess of the stock taking as well, as what has been ordered is not adjusted, but the incorrect item is, so have to keep changing that manually.
Seems as if something is not syncing, but nobody has an answer, and no help from whoever has made it go wrong.

I am not sure your problem resolved or not but here is my small suggestion : Please try to regenerate the product lookup table from Woocommerce settings and also clear transient cache and Orphaned variations too.
