Brilliant

I’ve been a user of the premium version of Automator for a while, so happy that there’s now a free version I can recommend.

Automator can save you *so* much time and stress setting up WordPress… especially with ecommerce or LMS sites.

A big site might have dozens of plugins installed, and connecting them has always involved a hodgepodge of integration tools. The LearnDash WooCommerce addon connects your sales to course access, the WooCommerce + BuddyPress extension does the same for memberships. Form plugins have their own addons for user registration, etc etc, etc.

Automator simplifies all that by handling all those “connections” through one plugin with one set of interfaces. Kind of like Zapier, but for WordPress plugins. You just have one set of settings to configure and one plugin to keep updated.

It’s a brilliant concept and once you start to see the possibilities it’s a real game changer.
